05 Sept. TAG Heuer Aquaracer - Precision and Performance

Stylish on land and resilient in the water, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer has an unrivalled pedigree in aquatic sports. Developed to meet the extreme demands of the water world, the Aquaracer is a symbol of precision and performance.

Modelled on the great Heuer yachting watches of the past, the first Aquaracer was launched in 2003, and born from the iconic 2000 Series of the 1980s. The watch featured a new addition to the metal bracelet so it could be stretched to fit over the sleeve of a wetsuit.

The original Aquaracer featured the “TAG Heuer Six” – six essential features of an authentic sports watch. Today these features are more refined and enriched to create the most resilient and reliable timepieces of its generation.

  1. The luminescent markers on the dial allow for optimal readability in the dark or underwater.
  2. The double security clasp on the bracelet prevents accidental openings.
  3. The unidirectional turning bezel measures time limits such as elapsed dive time. Any accidental movement of the bezel will only reduce the time remaining, an essential safety factor for divers.
  4. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the dial is treated with an anti-reflective treatment for optimal readability.
  5. The new Aquaracer 300m is immediately recognizable with its six-stud bezel.
  6. Finally, the double gaskets, rigorous standards and tests ensure water-resistance to 300 meters.

The new Aquaracer 300M collection, which arrived to our Flagship stores this week, is named after its 300-metre dive capacity. Capable of withstanding the harshest weather conditions, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer is resilient, effortlessly elegant, and will never crack under pressure.
