"Life is not waiting for the storm to pass. It is learning to dance in the rain!"
Jessica Korda grew up steeped in top-level sport: her father is none other than Petr Korda, a tennis champion ranked number 2 by the ATP in 1998.
Based in Bradenton, Florida, she took up golf at the age of 8 and first shone on the big stage in 2008 as an amateur at the US Open.
In 2009 she represented the United States in the Junior Solheim Cup. Jessica turned professional aged 18 in 2011, and won her first title in 2012 at the Women's Australian Open in Melbourne. It was a huge challenge and a magnificent victory for the very young woman. And it is an experience she has repeated since, with three wins to her name on the world circuit despite increasingly stiff competition! What makes her different, other than her talent, is her bold personality, her freshness and her sense of humor. Always ready to see the funny side of a situation, she even takes selfies on the course during tournaments. Jessica is now one of the greatest hopes of women's golf, her smiley face and hard-hitting swing bringing new energy to her sport. TAG Heuer is proud to be associated with a free spirit, a different type of champion who is defining her era and is a credit to the slogan #DontCrackunderPressure.
For more than 150 years, TAG Heuer has faced down every challenge, and then pushed past it. By defying the time-honored conventions of Swiss watchmaking, it has led it to ever higher levels of precision and performance. It makes its own rules, chooses its own path, never quits moving forward, never compromises, never cracks under pressure, just like its ambassadors.
